THE LAKELAND SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA PRESENTS

Renée Fleming

One Night Only

January 8, 2022 | 7 p.m.

Branscomb Auditorium

Robert Davis Performing Arts Center at Florida Southern College

Since 1965, the Lakeland Symphony Orchestra has been educating, entertaining and inspiring central Florida audiences with great music. In 2001, the Symphony’s volunteers embarked on an ambitious project – to bring a full-scale opera production to Lakeland, complete with teaching elements for local students.

To celebrate the opera’s 20th anniversary, the opera committee is pleased to welcome great American soprano Renée Fleming for her only Florida performance with orchestral accompaniment.

This weekend with Ms. Fleming will include her performance with the LSO and also a glimpse into her work with the National Institutes of Health and research on music’s impact on brain health.
