The ISO’s annual opera production welcomes opera professionals to Lakeland for a two-week rehearsal and performance schedule, including special workshops for students. The fantasy and fairytale of Mozart’s The Magic Flute have kept it an audience favorite for more than 225 years. Sung in English.

Join the Opera Chorus
Each year, the Imperial Symphony Orchestra Opera Committee produces a fully-staged opera with professional leads, professional artistic staff, professional orchestra and lots of students and community members – like you! During the first two weeks of January, everyone works to stage and costume the performance with a single performance on the third Saturday of January.

First Community Chorus Rehearsal August 14 @ 5:30 p.m.
For FSC Students (and Community chorus members that can attend), rehearsals will start the Fall Semester, on Wednesdays 3:15-4:25 p.m. in the Recital Hall, B202. Community chorus members are welcome at any time during those rehearsals (FSC is on break the week of October 21).
