Overall this book was very boring because the same things kept on happening over again and nothing interesting happened it was always just set at the boat finding the monster and it didn’t entertain me that much. This book would have been so much better (in my opinion) if it had been about a giant squid and not Captain Nemo and his seemingly way too large submarine.

They discovered this submarine, these people, this other world. I honestly hated this book. I also learned to be patient. I stayed engaged the whole time while reading and never found myself drifting off and even if I did start to lose focus the pictures help pull me back in and picture the story. In actuality the title of the book is 20,000 leagues under the sea by Jules Verne is a classic adventure book. It was ok because it talked about finding new sea monster. Part of ABDO's Magic Wagon imprint, this Calico Illustrated Classic is a great resource for upper elementary and middle school students.

The backstory behind the author is kind of sad, because he loved the sea, and tried to sneak on a boat when he was a kid, but his dad beat him and he vowed to only visit the sea in his imagination. I feel like the ending should’ve included it, but Captain Nemo and the crew abruptly “died”.


In actuality the title of the book is referring to how far they are traveling while under water. Recently, the 3 newcomer have wanted to escape the ship to get away from the slightly insane Nemo and go back to the world. For the next few weeks, they do 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne is a great read for someone looking to go on an adventure.

The area was lit up as the mountain was actually volcano and the town had been destroyed by the lava. One thing that I both liked and disliked about the book was the element of mystery that implemented on the character of Captain Nemo. I usually am a person who likes all books, but this one might be on the line. in chapter two when is shows what she put in the artical the quotation Jules Verne. It’s about some underwater adventure involving some people that were captured by this big submarine and then given like partial-freedom. We should stick to classic novels, they offer more pleasure in reading.

There are a few things wrong.
